Yangon - Bagan
- Mandalay - Heho - Inle - Yangon
Day – 1: Yangon
Meet with our guide on arrival at
the Yangon international
Airport and transfer to the hotel. Today's sightseeing tour
includes the old colonial style city center, the gilded Sule
Pagoda, dating back over 2,000 years and Bogyoke (Scott’s)
Market (closed on Public Holidays & Mondays). Then proceed
to Chauk Htat Gyi, a huge reclining Buddha image, followed
by a photo stop at Karaweik Hall royal floating barge. An
extended visit to the Shwedagon Pagoda, one of the world’s most
spectacular religious monuments will conclude the tour of
this picturesque Garden City. The golden dome of the
Shwedagon
Pagoda rises 98 meters above its base and is covered with 60

Day – 2: Yangon - Bagan (Flight)
After
an early breakfast you will be transferred to the
airport for a domestic flight to Bagan. As soon as you
arrive, you will start
your day with visits to the most significant pagodas and
temples of Bagan. Shwezigon Pagoda, built by King Anawrahta
in the early 11th century as a religious shrine; Kubyaukkyi,
noted for its panoramic view of the area’s numerous
monuments and the Ananda Temple, with four standing Buddha
images. In the afternoon we will visit one of Myanmar’s most
treasured handicrafts, a lacquer ware craftsmen’s workshop
in the nearby the Myinkaba village. You will continue to Manuha
temple, built in the Mon style in 1059. Next you will
explore the Myinkabar gubyaukkyi temple, a temple noteworthy
for its mural paintings under the protection of the UNESCO.
Proceed to Shwe sandaw to watch the sunset over the famous
Ayeyarwaddy River. Accommodation at the hotel, in Bagan.
Day – 3: Bagan
After breakfast,
discover more temples including the site of Tayokepyay temple in Min Nan Thu Village; Phaya Thone Zu and
Nandamanya Temples noted for exquisite murals of the 13th
century and the Kyat Kan Cave monastery, a famous meditation
retreat in Bagan. In the afternoon a visit to farming
villages around Bagan will give you an insight into the rural
life of the local people. Accommodation at the hotel, in Bagan.
Day – 4: Bagan - Mandalay (Flight)
Breakfast at
the hotel. Transfer to Nyaung Oo (Bagan) Airport
for a domestic flight to Mandalay. As son as you arrive at
Mandalay Airport you will proceed directly to Amarapura. You
will visit Mahagandayon, a
famous Buddhist monastery, where more than a thousand monks
live and study. The visit will continue to the 150 years old U Bein
teak bridge, built in 1851 at the time when Amarapura was
the royal capital. You will then proceed to Sagaing Hills, a retreat
for Buddhist devotees, to enjoy a magnificent view over the
surrounding area. Then you will proceed to Mandalay and the tour
highlight includes: the Mahamuny Pagoda with its spectacular
Buddha image covered with thick layers of gold leaves, a
visit to a craftsman’s workshop to see the Kalaga tapestries
being created, Shwe Nan Daw Kyaung (or Golden Palace
Monastery), a superb example of a traditional wooden
building, and Kuthodaw Pagoda (known as the world’s largest
book), consisting of 729 marble slabs engraved with Buddhist
scriptures. Finally enjoy a sunset from Mandalay Hill.

Day – 5: Mandalay - Heho - Inle (Flight, Car,
Boat)
Breakfast at
the hotel. Transfer to the Airport of Mandalay for a
domestic flight to heho. Transfer from Heho airport down
into the valley to Nyaungshwe on the edge of Inle Lake and
board your own local boat to take you to your the hotel. In the
afternoon the visit will include sights of the famous leg
rowers, typical floating gardens and local methods of
fishing, village life and magnificent scenery. Visits are
made to Phaung Daw Oo pagoda, the weaving village of
Inpawkhon and to one of the local markets in the Inle Lake
region (on market days only). Accommodation at the hotel, in Inle.
Day – 6: Inle (Boat)
Breakfast at
the hotel. After breakfast, you will board a boat to
the western shore of the lake where you will find the
beginning of a stair path leading to the hidden and unknown
Inn Dein pagoda complex. This visit is one of the most amazing
historical sights on the shore of the lake consisting of
hundreds of small stupas overgrown by moss and greens.

Day – 7: Inle - Heho - Yangon (Flight)
Breakfast at
the hotel. After breakfast transfer to Heho
Airport (25 km, approximately 1 hour by car) to take
a domestic flight to Yangon. Arriveal at yangon and visit
Bogyoke
market, formerly known as Scott Market and china town to
enjoy colorful vegetable market. Accommodation at the hotel, in
Yangon.
Day – 8 Yangon Departure
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the Yangon
international
Airport for your departure flight.
